Devices with liquid damage or that will not power on
We want to be upfront about this one. A device with liquid damage or that will not turn on arrives already compromised: corrosion and short circuits keep working away inside even when everything looks normal from the outside.
In these cases, opening the device or attempting the repair can make it worse, can stop it responding altogether, or it may simply not be recoverable. Nobody can guarantee the outcome in advance, and we are not going to promise you otherwise.
That is why the diagnostic comes first and we tell you what we found before charging you for a repair. When you authorize work on a severely damaged device, you accept that risk. We would rather tell you now, straight, than afterwards.
